With the introduction of the Duratec engine in 2006 season, the chassis has required some changes. The Ray Chassis proved to be more than competitive throughout the season with the GRS07 and modified pre Duratec chassis's faring extremely well.

	Chassis:			Tubular Steel, Bronze Welded Space Frame, Sand Blasted, Stove Enamelled. Riveted Hard Aluminium Floor Panel. Exceptionally rigid Chassis with special attention paid to Driver Protection. Chassis optimised with latest FE software.

	Brakes:			AP Racing callipers, 10 inch dia. Front and Rear floating Discs. Calipers mounted outboard Front and Rear. Combined Master Cylinder and Reservoir. Front to Rear Balance Bar. Cockpit Adjustable Brakes fitted as Standard.
	Steering:			High Geared Rack and Pinion in Lightweight Magnesium Casing. Leather covered Quick Release Alloy Steering Wheel. Steering Column positioned for Left Foot Braking as required. Steering Column Length is adjustable.
	Safety:			Front crashbox – Lateral protection structure 2.5 Kg fully plumbed-in extinguisher system – Harness 6 points
	Driveshaft:			GKN assembly + Aluminium hub

	Suspension:			Adjustable for Camber, Caster, Toe in and Ride Height, using Rod Ends with right and left hand threads for ease of adjustment. Tube based fabrications are Chemically Blacked, whilst other parts are Zinc Plated.
